Triple CMOS op-amp for high-speed signal conditioning
The Texas Instruments OPA3355UA is a triple-channel, voltage-feedback CMOS operational amplifier in a 14-SOIC surface-mount package.
The 450 MHz -3 dB bandwidth is the small-signal gain roll-off point. For a non-inverting gain of +2, the closed-loop bandwidth will be roughly half that, so budget about 225 MHz of usable flat gain for video or IF paths. The 360 V/µs slew rate governs the maximum output voltage swing without slew-induced distortion: a 2 V peak-to-peak step at 450 MHz would demand about 2.8 V/ns, which this part clears with margin — but a 4 V step at the same frequency would exceed the slew limit, so check the worst-case edge in your application. At 8.3 mA supply current per amplifier, the triple draws about 25 mA total. That is moderate for a 450 MHz CMOS op-amp — not the lowest power in class, but a fair trade-off for the 100 mA output drive and rail-to-rail swing.
