The rail-to-rail output stage lets the part deliver the full supply span into the load, which matters in single-supply designs running from 3.5 V to 12 V. Input bias current sits at 30 pA, so the part is usable with high-impedance sensors or precision integrators where bias current drift would otherwise shift the operating point.
Temperature grade and operating range
The 125°C upper limit is the junction temperature, not just ambient — if the part dissipates significant power at high ambient, derate the output current or add airflow. The CMOS input stage keeps the bias current stable across temperature; the 1.5 mV input offset voltage is a typical figure, so for precision DC applications below 0.5 mV offset, a trim or a chopper-stabilized part would be needed.
The tape-and-reel option suits automated pick-and-place; cut-tape quantities are also available for prototypes.
