Supply range and quiescent current
The 580 µA supply current per amplifier (1.16 mA total for both channels) is moderate — not the lowest for battery gear, but well within the budget for a multi-rail industrial board where the op-amp is one of several active devices. If the design is tight on current, compare against a lower-power dual like the TLV9362IDDFR (2.6 mA per channel) — the OPA2202 draws less than half that.
Input offset and bias current
That means less calibration overhead in DC-accurate circuits like thermocouple amplifiers or current-sense shunts. The 250 µA input bias current is bipolar-transistor territory (not FET), so source impedance matters: keep the feedback network below a few tens of kΩ to avoid offset drift from bias-current mismatch.
Output drive and package
The push-pull output stage is standard for general-purpose use. Cut Tape is also available for prototype quantities.
For dual-sourcing resilience, the TLV9362IDDFR is a parametric alternative — same dual-channel general-purpose function, higher 10.6 MHz bandwidth and rail-to-rail output, but at 2.6 mA per channel supply current.
