Product details

Transimpedance front-end for photodiode and sensor interfaces

Its 150 V/µs slew rate and 100 MHz gain-bandwidth product let it capture fast optical pulses from avalanche photodiodes or high-speed PIN photodiodes without slew-rate limiting. The 3 pA input bias current preserves the signal from small-area photodiodes in low-light or high-impedance sensor applications. Rail-to-rail output swing maximizes the dynamic range into an ADC or comparator.

The exposed pad is also the ground return for the input stage, so the layout needs a low-inductance path to the photodiode cathode.
