32 MHz Cortex-M0+ in a 16-pin SOT-23
The MSPM0L1306SDYYR: It is the smallest-package member of the MSPM0L family, housed in a 16-lead SOT-23 Thin variant (supplier device package 16-SOT-23-THIN). The 32 MHz core delivers enough throughput for real-time sensor fusion, brushless-DC commutation loops, and lighting control without external coprocessor. The 64 KB flash leaves room for a modest application stack plus a bootloader; the 4 KB SRAM supports a few hundred bytes of DMA buffer and a moderate call stack.
Peripheral set and deployment context
Connectivity includes DALI, I²C, IrDA, LINbus, SmartCard, SMBus, SPI, and UART/USART — the DALI and LIN interfaces make this MCU a natural fit for LED lighting fixtures and automotive body-control modules (door modules, seat controllers) where a small footprint and a single serial bus are preferred over a CAN node. The integrated DMA offloads the CPU during ADC conversions and UART transfers, keeping the core free for control loops. An engine-bay ECU or a rooftop solar inverter that sees 105°C ambient still has 20°C of margin before the silicon thermal limit.
