16 MHz 16-bit core for low-power sensor and control tasks
This is a 16-bit MSP430 MCU clocked at 16 MHz, built around the MSP430 CPU16 core. The 4 KB on-chip Flash and 256 bytes of RAM are sized for simple firmware loops — think I²C or SPI sensor polling, PWM generation, or basic keypad scanning — rather than data-logging or protocol stacks. The integrated 8-channel 10-bit ADC reads analog inputs directly, saving a separate converter on a tight BOM.
Peripherals and connectivity in a 16-QFN footprint
The 16-pin QFN (4x4 mm) exposes 10 general-purpose I/O lines and supports I²C, SPI, and USI serial interfaces.
