With 4 KB of Flash and 256 bytes of RAM, this part is sized for small supervisory tasks: reading a few sensors, driving a simple PWM output, or managing a serial protocol bridge. The 256-byte RAM ceiling means no dynamic allocation — firmware must be statically budgeted. The 10-bit ADC with eight channels covers multi-sensor analog front ends without an external converter.
Through-hole 20-DIP — rework-friendly footprint
The 20-pin DIP (0.300" body width) through-hole package is a deliberate choice for prototyping, educational kits, and low-volume production where hand-soldering or socketing is preferred.
