On-chip peripherals and I/O in a compact 16-QFN package
The MSP430G2252IRSA16T: Ten general-purpose I/O pins are available in the 16-VQFN exposed-pad package (4x4 mm 16-QFN). Integrated peripherals include an 8-channel 10-bit ADC, a brown-out detect and power-on reset circuit, a DMA controller, a PWM timer, and a watchdog timer. The USI module supports I²C and SPI in hardware, so bit-banging isn't needed for common sensor or memory interfaces. For precision timing, an external clock can be fed to the XIN pin.

It is ROHS3 compliant, meeting the latest EU restriction-of-hazardous-substances directive for lead-free soldering processes.
