The MSP430G2232IN20 is a 16-bit MCU from TI's MSP430G2xx ultra-low-power family, built around the MSP430 CPU16 core. It runs at 16 MHz, which is the practical ceiling for this process node — enough for sensor polling, simple control loops, and communication protocol handling without external oscillators (the internal oscillator is rated for use). The 2 KB Flash and 256 x 8 RAM limit firmware to lightweight tasks: think temperature monitoring, I²C/SPI bridge functions, or PWM generation for small loads. Through-hole 20-DIP — prototyping and low-volume builds
