2 KB Flash, 128 bytes RAM — what fits in this MSP430
I²C and SPI on a 14-pin TSSOP
The 14-TSSOP package (4.40 mm width) keeps board area small. Both I²C and SPI interfaces are available, multiplexed onto the I/O pins — useful for talking to a small external EEPROM, a temperature sensor, or a serial ADC without bit-banging. Surface-mount only, as expected for this footprint class. The 128-byte RAM ceiling means any I²C or SPI buffer must be kept minimal — a 16-byte transaction uses 12.5% of available RAM.
