16-bit MSP430 core with 1 KB Flash
The MSP430G2131IRSA16R is a 16-bit microcontroller from the MSP430G2xx series, built around the MSP430 CPU16 RISC core clocked at 16 MHz.
On-chip analog and serial interfaces
Serial connectivity covers I²C and SPI, so the part can talk to common sensors, EEPROMs, or display drivers without bit-banging GPIO. Ten general-purpose I/O lines are available in the 16-QFN package (4x4 mm), with the exposed pad aiding thermal dissipation in compact designs. Built-in peripherals include brown-out detection (BOR), power-on reset (POR), a PWM timer, and a watchdog timer (WDT) — covering the basics for reliable standalone operation without external supervisor ICs.
Industrial temperature range and compliance
ROHS3 compliant per the manufacturer's declaration, with no halogenated flame retardants in the package.
