Its program memory is 64 KB of FRAM — a non-volatile memory that combines the speed of SRAM writes with Flash-like retention, eliminating the write-cycle endurance limits and erase-before-write overhead of conventional Flash MCUs. The device integrates 2K x 8 of RAM for stack and variable storage, and includes a segment LCD driver capable of driving up to 320 segments directly from the chip, which simplifies BOM for metering, instrumentation, and portable display panels.
Peripheral set and connectivity for sensor and display applications
The 8-channel 12-bit ADC samples analog sensor inputs directly. The internal oscillator keeps external crystal costs off the BOM for applications that can tolerate ±3% accuracy.
The 64-VQFN (9x9 mm) package with exposed pad aids thermal dissipation in compact designs.
