FRAM program memory — the real differentiator
Its headline feature is 256 KB of FRAM program memory — non-volatile, byte-addressable, and fast enough to serve as both code store and data logging space without the erase-cycle overhead of Flash. That means no wear-leveling in the firmware layer, near-instant writes for configuration parameters, and the ability to update firmware over-the-air without a separate EEPROM. The 8 KB of SRAM handles stack and scratchpad. This part is aimed at metering, medical instrumentation, building automation, and any application where low-power operation and data integrity matter more than raw compute throughput.
Supply and temperature — industrial-rated, single-rail operation
The 100-LQFP package (14x14 mm) is a standard 0.5 mm pitch QFP — straightforward to hand-assemble and inspect, no X-ray required.
