64 KB FRAM at 16 MHz — what the MSP430 CPUXV2 core delivers
Its program memory is 64 KB of FRAM — non-volatile, fast write, and low power, so no wear-leveling or erase-before-write cycles are needed. The 2K x 8 RAM handles stack and scratchpad for moderate data buffers.
Industrial temp and supply range — board-level fit
The 64-VFQFN package with exposed pad (9x9 mm body) needs a thermal via stitch under the paddle for heat sinking; the pad is also the ground return for the core.
It is current-production from Texas Instruments, so new designs can commit it without an obsolescence watch.
