Its program memory is 16KB of FRAM — not Flash — which means writes are fast, nearly unlimited in endurance (10^15 cycles typical), and consume less power per byte than an EEPROM write.
Runs on 2V to 3.6V, so a single 3.3V or 3.0V lithium cell works fine. Not rated for under-hood or downhole, but fine for most commercial and industrial enclosures.
Lifecycle status is Active per TI's product bulletin. No last-time-buy notice, no end-of-life window.
