64.5 KB FRAM — no erase penalty, no wear-leveling tax
The MSP430FR2676TRHBT is a 16-bit MCU from TI's MSP430 FRAM family, built around the MSP430 CPU16 core running at 16 MHz. Its program memory is 64.5 KB of FRAM (ferroelectric RAM), which combines the non-volatility of Flash with byte-addressable write speeds and 10^15 cycle endurance — no erase-before-write, no sector management. The 8-channel 12-bit SAR ADC handles multi-sensor analog inputs without an external mux, and the 27 GPIOs cover typical control and interface needs.
TI lists the MSP430FR2676TRHBT as Active. If a second-source need arises, the MSP430FR267x family shares the same 32-VQFN footprint and peripheral set, so a pin-compatible migration within the series is straightforward without a board spin.
