FRAM instead of flash — why this matters for the BOM
The MSP430FR2675TRHAR is a 16-bit MCU from TI's MSP430 FRAM family, built around the MSP430 CPU16 core running at 16 MHz. That eliminates the wear-leveling logic you would otherwise need for a data-logging or configuration-storage block.
The 10-channel 12-bit SAR ADC samples at rates sufficient for most sensor-conditioning loops — think thermocouple, RTD, or current-shunt monitoring in a motor drive.
TI lists the MSP430FR2675TRHAR as Active. The part is ROHS3 compliant.
