Its program memory is 32.5 KB of FRAM — a non-volatile memory that combines fast write speeds and high endurance, unlike conventional Flash. An internal oscillator keeps the BOM lean for cost-sensitive designs.
The exposed pad also provides a low-inductance ground return for the core and I/O switching currents. The mounting type is surface mount only.
