FRAM MCU for industrial sensing and control loops
Its 16KB FRAM program memory combines non-volatile storage with near-SRAM write speeds and 10^15 write-cycle endurance — a practical advantage over Flash for data-logging, configuration storage, and field-updateable firmware. The 24MHz clock, 2K x 8 SRAM, and integrated 12x12b ADC plus 4x12b DAC make it a fit for closed-loop control in motor drives, sensor hubs, and portable instrumentation.
Supply and temperature — what the range buys you
The 1.8V to 3.6V supply range covers single-cell Li-ion, two-cell alkaline, and 3.3V regulated rails without an extra LDO. The 48-LQFP (7x7mm) package keeps the footprint manageable for 44 I/O lines, with the 0.5mm pitch requiring standard SMT assembly.
Peripheral set for mixed-signal designs
On-chip data converters — 12 analog inputs (12-bit) and 4 DAC outputs (12-bit) — reduce external component count in sensor-conditioning or actuator-drive stages.
