Mixed-signal MCU with on-chip LCD drive — what it does
It packs 24 KB of Flash program memory, 256 x 8 bytes of RAM, and a rich set of integrated peripherals: a 5-channel 16-bit ADC, a single 12-bit DAC, a direct LCD segment driver, PWM outputs, a brown-out detector, a power-on reset, and a watchdog timer. The part is aimed at battery-powered or industrial sensor/control applications where an LCD display is needed without a separate display controller IC — think handheld meters, panel instruments, or smart actuators.
Package and footprint notes for layout
Housed in a 48-VFQFN with an exposed thermal pad (7x7 mm body), the package needs a solid via-stitch under the pad for both thermal relief and ground return. The 32 I/O lines are enough for a small keypad, sensor inputs, and a segment LCD.
