Metering SoC with seven 24-bit sigma-delta ADCs
Its defining feature is the set of seven 24-bit sigma-delta analog-to-digital converters, purpose-designed for polyphase energy measurement — each phase voltage and current channel gets its own converter, so the firmware reads simultaneous samples without multiplexer skew. The on-chip LCD driver handles the display directly, and the 512 KB Flash plus 32 KB RAM leave room for the metering algorithms, tamper detection, and a communication stack (I²C, SPI, UART/USART, LINbus).
100-LQFP — standard fine-pitch QFP for inspection
The 100-LQFP (14x14 mm body, 0.5 mm pitch) is a widely used package for metering boards. It is hand-solderable for prototypes, reflow-friendly for production, and the exposed leads make X-ray and AOI inspection straightforward.
