Polyphase metering MCU with seven sigma-delta channels
The MSP430F67771AIPEUR: Its defining feature is the set of seven 24-bit sigma-delta analog-to-digital converters — purpose-built for polyphase energy metering where each phase plus neutral needs its own simultaneous sampling channel. The peripheral set includes a direct LCD driver, DMA for moving conversion results without CPU intervention, brown-out detect and POR for supply-rail integrity, and a PWM timer for control outputs. The package is a 128-LQFP with 90 available I/O, and the mounting is surface-mount.
The seven 24-bit sigma-delta converters allow simultaneous sampling of multiple channels. The converters oversample and decimate internally; the DMA can move results to RAM without CPU intervention.
The part is ROHS3 compliant.
