7x24-bit sigma-delta ADC — the metering engine
The seven 24-bit sigma-delta ADCs are the headline peripheral. They enable simultaneous sampling on multiple phases — three voltage, three current, plus neutral — for Class 0.2 or better energy measurement without external analog front-ends. The 24-bit resolution and programmable gain simplify sensor interface (CTs, shunts, Rogowski coils). The rest of the 90 I/O handles display, communication, and tamper detection.
