Seven 24-bit sigma-delta ADCs — the reason this part exists
The MSP430F67751AIPZ: Seven 24-bit sigma-delta converters on-chip separate it from a general-purpose MSP430. This part is designed for polyphase energy metering, power-quality monitoring, and precision sensor-fusion applications where you need multiple simultaneous high-resolution measurement channels without external ADCs.
Memory and peripheral fit for metrology firmware
128 KB of program Flash and 16K x 8 of RAM give enough headroom for metrology algorithms, calibration tables, and a communication stack. The 62 I/O lines and connectivity set — I²C, IrDA, LINbus, SPI, UART/USART — let it talk to an external display, a wireless module, or a host controller without a separate interface chip.
The 1.8V to 3.6V supply range lets it run from a single Li-ion cell or a regulated 3.3V rail.
Listed as Active by Texas Instruments.
Package and mounting
Supplied in a 100-pin LQFP (14x14 mm body), surface-mount. The 'IPZ' suffix indicates the tube shipping medium; the 'IPZR' variant is tape-and-reel. Footprint is the same either way — just a logistics difference, not a functional one.
