Peripheral set and connectivity
Beyond the ADCs, the device includes a brown-out detect and reset, power-on reset, DMA controller, LCD driver, PWM timer, and a watchdog timer. For serial communication it supports I²C, IrDA, LINbus, SPI, and UART/USART — enough to talk to an external EEPROM, a radio module, or a host processor.
Supply and temperature range
That covers outdoor telecom cabinets, factory-floor sensors, and energy meters installed in non-conditioned environments. The 128-LQFP (20x14 mm) is a hand-solderable package, which helps during prototyping and low-volume production.
