Integration checklist for the 100-LQFP footprint
The 100-LQFP package (14x14 mm body) with 62 GPIOs gives plenty of room for a segmented LCD direct-drive interface, external serial memory, and isolated communication links. The internal oscillator eliminates the crystal for most metering applications, though the sigma-delta converters benefit from an external precision reference for best accuracy. Brown-out reset and the programmable watchdog are on-chip — no external supervisor needed for basic safety integrity.
