Peripheral set and I/O
74 general-purpose I/O lines are available, with 16-channel 12-bit ADC and dual 12-bit DAC converters on-chip. Brown-out detect, POR, DMA, PWM, and a watchdog timer are integrated. Connectivity covers USB 2.0, I²C, SPI, UART/USART, LIN, and IrDA — enough to bridge to most industrial sensors, displays, and serial buses without external protocol converters.
