What the 20 MHz core and 128 KB Flash mean for your BOM
The 74 I/O pins in a 100-LQFP package give you room for a parallel LCD, keypad matrix, and multiple sensor interfaces on a single board. The 20 MHz clock is the sweet spot for battery-operated instrumentation and portable medical devices: it delivers enough throughput for 12-bit ADC conversions at tens of kSPS and USB full-speed communication while keeping dynamic current low enough that a CR2032 coin cell can power the system for months in sleep mode.
Industrial temperature range and peripheral set
On-chip data converters include a 16-channel 12-bit ADC and two 12-bit DACs, enough to condition four analog sensor inputs and drive two analog outputs without external converters.
Sourcing and lifecycle posture
It is current-production from Texas Instruments, available through independent distribution for both prototype quantities and production volumes.
