The 256 KB Flash is sized for application firmware with room for a bootloader and one or two field-update image slots, depending on code density. The 16 KB RAM limits runtime data buffering — enough for a few kilobytes of sensor logs or communication packets, but not for large frame buffers or extensive lookup tables without external memory.
Industrial temperature grade and connectivity
The connectivity set includes I²C, SPI, UART/USART, LIN, and IrDA — covering sensor buses, display links, and legacy serial protocols common in industrial and instrumentation designs. The 87 I/O lines in the 100-LQFP package give ample headroom for parallel LCD interfaces, keypad matrices, and discrete sensor inputs.
