16-bit MCU in a fine-pitch BGA — what you need to know
The MSP430F5324IZQE: 64 KB Flash and 6 KB RAM. 80-BGA MICROSTAR JUNIOR (5x5 mm). The 47 GPIOs and a 12-channel 12-bit ADC give it enough analog and digital I/O for a distributed sensor node or a motor-control interface. Connectivity options cover I²C, IrDA, LIN, SCI, SPI, and UART/USART, so it can talk to most serial peripherals without glue logic.
Obsolete — sourcing path and replacement planning
For new designs or BOM lines that need a long-term supply, a pin-compatible replacement within the MSP430F5xx family is the practical path. For existing production that cannot requalify a replacement, we source the MSP430F5324IZQE through independent distribution on a quoted-to-order basis against an RFQ.
