Obsolete — last-time buy or surplus channel only
A 16-bit RISC core running at 25 MHz, with 16 KB Flash and 6K x 8 RAM. That puts it in the mid-range of the MSP430F5xx family — enough for a sensor hub reading 12-bit ADC channels over I²C or SPI while managing a few PWM outputs and a UART debug link. The 25 MHz clock gives tight timing on interrupt-driven control loops; the 47 I/O lines handle a modest keypad or parallel LCD interface without a port expander.
The 12-bit ADC has 10 multiplexed channels. Brown-out detect, POR, DMA, and PWM are built in. Internal oscillator saves an external crystal for most applications.
