25 MHz CPUXV2 core — throughput for sensor fusion and comms
The MSP430F5256IRGCT: The 16-bit MSP430 CPUXV2 core runs at 25 MHz. That clock ceiling is enough for sensor-fusion loops reading multiple I²C or SPI peripherals, or for managing a UART-based radio stack. It is not a real-time motor-control core — if your application needs high-PWM-rate current loops, a C2000 part would be the better fit. On-chip memory: 128 KB of Flash for program storage and 16 KB of RAM for data. The RAM is the tighter resource in a buffered-communication or data-logging design — budget your stack and buffer sizes before committing the firmware architecture.
Not qualified for under-hood automotive ambient (125°C), so keep it inside the cabin or on the control board.
