What the 3x16b ADC array means for the BOM
The three 16-bit sigma-delta ADCs (A/D 3x16b) let this MCU sample three analog channels simultaneously — the typical use case is voltage and current from each phase in a three-phase meter. For a single-phase design, the spare ADC channel can monitor a neutral line or a temperature sensor.
LCD driver — no external display controller needed
The on-chip LCD peripheral (listed under peripherals) drives glass LCD segments directly, removing a separate display driver IC from the BOM. That matters for metering panels, thermostats, and any human-interface display where every cent and every square mm count.
