The 40-VFQFN package with exposed pad (6x6 mm body) helps pull heat into the PCB ground plane — a via stitch under the pad is recommended for continuous operation above 85°C. The slope A/D converter is a low-pin-count alternative to a full SAR ADC, suited for battery-voltage or temperature monitoring.
