16-bit ultra-low-power MCU for sensor and control endpoints
The MSP430F2002TRSAR is a 16-bit MCU with a 16 MHz core, 1 KB Flash, and 128 bytes of RAM. It includes an 8-channel 10-bit ADC, I²C/SPI, internal oscillator, and brown-out detect.
EOL status — sourcing through independent channels
This part carries an end-of-life (EOL) lifecycle stage. It is not recommended for new designs. For existing BOM lines, the MSP430F2002TRSAR is available through independent distribution.
What the 16 MHz clock and 1 KB Flash mean for firmware
The 16 MHz core speed is adequate for polling a sensor at 1 kHz or driving a PWM output. The 1 KB Flash limit rules out RTOS kernels, USB stacks, or floating-point libraries.
