16-bit MSP430 core with 8 MHz and 4 KB Flash
The MSP430F1121IDWR is a 16-bit microcontroller from the MSP430x1xx family, built around the MSP430 CPU16 core running at 8 MHz. It carries 4 KB of on-chip Flash program memory and 256 x 8 bytes of RAM — enough for small sensor-logging or control loops that do not need external memory.
NRND lifecycle — sourcing through independent channels
Texas Instruments lists the MSP430F1121IDWR as NRND (Not Recommended for New Designs). The part is no longer the first choice for a new BOM, but it remains available through independent distribution for existing production runs and sustainment programs. For a new design, a pin-compatible or functionally equivalent alternative within the MSP430 family should be evaluated.
Industrial temperature grade and 20-SOIC package
The tape-and-reel packaging supports automated pick-and-place assembly.
