2 KB of Flash and 128 bytes of RAM define the firmware complexity ceiling. This part targets simple control loops, state machines, and sensor readout tasks — not data logging or protocol stacks. The 14 I/O lines, a watchdog timer (WDT), power-on reset (POR), and a slope A/D converter cover basic monitoring and sequencing roles without external glue logic.
The internal oscillator holds frequency across the range, so a crystal is optional for applications that can tolerate the internal RC accuracy.
