The 3V to 10V supply range is the headline decision point. At 3.3V nominal the part is fully operational, but check the LCD contrast voltage — the driver's output swing tracks VDD, so a 3.3V rail yields a 3.3V segment drive. If your display needs a higher contrast voltage (common in larger or high-temperature LCDs), you may need to run the driver from a boosted supply within the 10V ceiling. Industrial temperature rating (-40°C to 85°C) means the part is specified for outdoor, unheated, or engine-adjacent enclosures. No derating needed for cold-start or hot-day operation within that range.

Note that the part is RoHS non-compliant, so it is not suitable for new European-market consumer products or any assembly requiring RoHS exemption-free status. For repair or legacy builds where leaded solder is acceptable, this is not a blocker.
