The MC3403NS: It delivers a 1 MHz gain-bandwidth product and a 0.6 V/µs slew rate, drawing 2.8 mA per amplifier from a 5 V to 30 V single or dual supply.
0.6 V/µs slew rate — signal bandwidth ceiling
At 0.6 V/µs, the MC3403NS will slew-rate limit a 10 V peak-to-peak output swing at roughly 19 kHz. For audio-band filtering or slow sensor buffering this is adequate, but a design needing fast edge rates (e.g., >50 kHz square-wave recovery) should look to a faster amplifier. The 30 mA output per channel can drive modest loads, but the combination of moderate slew and 2 mV input offset (typical) means the part is best suited to non-critical DC and low-frequency AC paths.
Commercial temperature grade — controlled environment only
This part belongs in a conditioned indoor rack, a benchtop instrument, or an appliance PCB — not in an engine bay, outdoor telecom cabinet, or factory floor. If the bill of materials requires -40°C to +85°C coverage, the MC3403NS will not meet the derating margin.
