General-purpose quad op-amp in a through-hole DIP
The 1 MHz gain-bandwidth product sets the usable closed-loop bandwidth: at a gain of 10, expect a -3 dB point around 100 kHz. For audio line-level amplification, 4–20 mA loop conditioning, or comparator-threshold detection, these numbers are adequate. If the design needs to pass a 100 kHz square wave cleanly or settle a multiplexed ADC input within a few microseconds, this part is not the fit — a faster op-amp (e.g., 6.5 MHz GBW, 5 V/µs) would be the correct tier.
