8-channel bidirectional level shifter with auto-direction sensing
The Texas Instruments LSF0108RKSR is an 8-channel bidirectional voltage-level translator that handles open-drain and push-pull outputs across a split-supply interface — VCCA from 0.95 V to 4.5 V, VCCB from 1.8 V to 5.5 V. Auto-direction sensing means the part detects the data direction on each channel without a DIR pin, so a single device bridges buses like a 1.2-V sensor to a 3.3-V MCU or a 1.8-V memory to a 5-V legacy peripheral.
Supply-rail mapping and temperature grade
VCCA accepts 0.95 V to 4.5 V, VCCB accepts 1.8 V to 5.5 V — the lower rail must always be at or below VCCB, so this part suits any combination where the A-side bus is the lower-voltage domain. Rated for -40°C to 125°C ambient, the LSF0108RKSR covers industrial and automotive under-hood temperature profiles without derating.
Package and PCB integration
Housed in a 20-VFQFN exposed-pad package (4.5 mm × 2.5 mm body), the LSF0108RKSR requires a thermal-land pattern on the PCB to draw heat from the die — the exposed pad must be soldered to a copper plane, not left floating. Supplied on tape and reel or cut tape, the part is surface-mount ready for high-volume reflow assembly.
