Four programmable rails in one QFN — 3A bucks plus 300 mA LDOs
The LP87334ARHDRQ1 packs two 3 A step-down buck converters and two 300 mA linear LDOs into a single 28-VFQFN package, with all four outputs independently programmable via I2C. The bucks cover 0.7 V to 3.36 V; the LDOs cover 0.8 V to 3.3 V — enough range to power a modern SoC core, memory I/O, and analog front-end from one IC. Switching at 2 MHz lets the output filter components shrink — a 1 µH inductor and 10 µF ceramic cap per buck channel fit the bill for most automotive processor rails, saving board area in an ECU that already has tight real estate.

Qualified to AEC-Q100 Grade 1, the LP87334ARHDRQ1 operates from -40°C to 125°C ambient — the full under-hood temperature band. The 2.8 V to 5.5 V input range covers a 12 V battery dipped to 4.5 V during cold crank and survives a 40 V load-dump transient when the alternator field decays, as long as the upstream TVS clamps the bus within the abs-max rating. The integrated power sequencer manages the four rail start-up order without an external supervisor — one less IC to qualify and one less trace to route on the board. The sequencer timing is programmable, so the core rail can ramp before the I/O rail, matching the SoC's power-up sequence.
Wettable flank QFN — AOI-friendly and reworkable
The 28-VFQFN package uses wettable flanks — the side of each pad is plated so solder wicks up the edge, creating a visible fillet that automated optical inspection (AOI) can verify. For the rework bench, that means you can see the joint quality after hot-air removal and replacement without X-ray. The 5 mm × 5 mm footprint (28-VQFN) with exposed thermal pad pulls heat into the board's copper plane. The pad's solder paste coverage should match the recommended stencil aperture in the datasheet — too much paste and the part floats; too little and the thermal resistance climbs.
