Its PSRR of 60 dB at 100 Hz dropping to 50 dB at 10 kHz means it attenuates ripple from a switching pre-regulator or a noisy digital supply by a factor of 1000 at the lower frequencies — relevant when powering analog front-ends, RF transceivers, or sensor bias where supply noise couples into the signal chain. The 55 µA quiescent current keeps the bias draw low enough for battery-powered always-on domains, and the enable pin lets a system controller shut down the output to near-zero draw when the rail is unused.
