150 mA LDO with 60 dB PSRR — noise-sensitive rail fit
The LP5951MFX-1.3/NOPB is a 150 mA fixed-output LDO from Texas Instruments, delivering a regulated 1.3 V rail from an input up to 5.5 V. Its PSRR of 60 dB at 100 Hz dropping to 50 dB at 10 kHz means it attenuates ripple from a switching pre-regulator or a noisy digital supply by a factor of 1000 at the lower frequencies — relevant when powering analog front-ends, RF transceivers, or sensor bias where supply noise couples into the signal chain. The 55 µA quiescent current keeps the bias draw low enough for battery-powered always-on domains, and the enable pin lets a system controller shut down the output to near-zero draw when the rail is unused.
Temperature grade and protection — industrial and automotive deployment
The SOT-23-5 package (SC-74A) keeps the PCB footprint under 3 mm × 3 mm, fitting into space-constrained designs like handheld instruments or compact IoT nodes. On-chip protection includes over-current limiting, thermal shutdown, and short-circuit current foldback — the regulator survives a sustained output short without damage, and the thermal limit cycles the output until the fault clears. No external protection diode is needed for normal operation.
Sourcing and lifecycle — active production, no EOL concern
ROHS3 compliant, with no halogen or lead restrictions blocking EU or global shipments. The reel quantity is the standard 3000 pieces per 7-inch reel.
