300 mA LDO, 1 V fixed — the PSRR profile and the 125°C junction rating
The LP5910-1.0YKAR is a 300 mA positive-output linear regulator from Texas Instruments, delivering a fixed 1 V rail from a maximum input of 3.3 V. The 25 µA quiescent current and 350 µA max supply current keep the overhead low in always-on domains.
PSRR across the switching band
The PSRR starts at 80 dB at 100 Hz and rolls off to 25 dB at 2 MHz. This means the regulator attenuates low-frequency ripple well — 80 dB knocks a 10 mV ripple down to 1 µV — but above a few hundred kHz the rejection drops, so a downstream LDO or a pi-filter ahead of the input may be needed if the upstream switcher runs above 1 MHz. The 1 V output is fixed, so the BOM position is a drop-in rail for a 1 V core or I/O supply.
Protection set and package
Over-temperature, reverse polarity, and short-circuit protection are built in. The 4-DSBGA package is a 0.8 mm × 0.8 mm ball-grid array — the 4-ball footprint fits into tight floorplans but requires a controlled reflow profile and X-ray inspection post-solder. The enable pin lets the system shut the rail off, dropping the quiescent current to near zero in sleep states.
Lifecycle status is active. The part is ROHS3 compliant.
