Fixed 3.3V LDO with 300mA output
The LP3982IMM-3.3/NOPB is a single-output positive LDO regulator delivering a fixed 3.3V rail at up to 300mA continuous current. Maximum input voltage is 6V, making it a drop-in for 5V or 3.6V bus rails that need a clean 3.3V supply for analog or digital loads.
Dropout and quiescent current
Maximum dropout is 0.22V at 200mA load — the headroom between input and 3.3V output must stay above this figure across the full load range to maintain regulation. Quiescent current is 270 µA typical; this Iq is the regulator's own draw, not the load current, and sets the floor for battery-powered or always-on rail budgets.
Protection and control
On-chip protection covers over-current, over-temperature, and reverse polarity — the regulator survives a miswired supply or a sustained short on the output without external clamp diodes. An Enable pin allows the output to be gated by a logic-level signal; pulled low, the regulator enters shutdown and the output goes high-impedance.
