Protection and control for a power rail

Built-in over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection let the regulator survive a sustained output short or a thermal runaway condition without external crowbar circuitry — the die simply folds back current and shuts down until the junction cools. The Enable pin (active-high) pulls the output to zero when driven low, drawing 9 mA quiescent in the enabled state. Sequencing multiple rails is a matter of tying the enable to a GPIO or a supervisor output — no external PMOS load switch needed.
