Fixed 2.5 V rail, 1 A capacity
The LP38692SD-2.5/NOPB is a fixed-output positive LDO regulator delivering 1 A at 2.5 V from a 6-WSON package. The 1.3 V max dropout at full load means the input rail needs to stay above about 3.8 V to keep the output in regulation — a 5 V bus gives you a little over a volt of headroom, which is comfortable for most 5 V to 2.5 V drops.
PSRR and quiescent draw
PSRR is 55 dB at 120 Hz — that's the ripple rejection you get after a full-wave rectifier, so this part cleans up the 100/120 Hz buzz from a bulk capacitor. The 55 µA quiescent current keeps the regulator's own draw low enough for always-on rails or battery-backed supplies where every microamp counts.
