Protection and quiescent draw
Built-in over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection cover the common failure modes. Quiescent current is 500 µA typical, with a maximum supply current of 600 µA — low enough for battery-operated equipment that stays awake for extended periods. An enable pin (active-high logic) lets the system shut down both outputs for sleep modes, dropping Iq to near zero.
Lifecycle and sourcing
Status is Active per the manufacturer record — no end-of-life notice, no last-time-buy window. RoHS non-compliant; if your BOM requires RoHS, factor in an exemption or look for a lead-free variant.
