Quad comparator in a 14-TSSOP — field-fit and supply rails
The LMV339MT is a quad general-purpose comparator from Texas Instruments, packing four independent comparators into a 14-TSSOP package. It runs on a single supply from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, which means it sits comfortably on either a 3.3 V or 5 V rail without a separate regulator. The output stage is CMOS, open-collector, or TTL — so you can wire-OR multiple outputs or drive logic inputs directly. Propagation delay is 600 ns max, fast enough for most sensor threshold and overvoltage detection loops, but not for high-speed PWM or zero-crossing at switching frequencies above a few hundred kHz.
Temperature range and environment
Rated for -40°C to 85°C, so it handles industrial control cabinets, outdoor telecom shelters, and engine-bay-adjacent electronics. Not a full automotive-grade part (no AEC-Q100 in the record), but fine for factory-floor and commercial equipment where the ambient stays inside that window.
Lifecycle and sourcing reality
ROHS3 compliant, so it ships without lead in the finish.
