Quad op-amp with AEC-Q100 grade for automotive signal chains
The Texas Instruments LMV324M-TI is a general-purpose quad operational amplifier from the Automotive, AEC-Q100 LMV® series, housed in a 14-TSSOP package.
The 410 µA total supply current across four channels keeps the power budget lean in always-on modules like battery-monitoring or occupancy-sensor interfaces. The 1.7 mV input offset and 15 nA input bias are adequate for general-purpose signal conditioning; for precision sub-mV sensing, a zero-drift amplifier would be needed.
Temperature range and operating environment
It is suited for under-hood, engine bay, and chassis-domain electronics where commercial 0°C to 70°C parts would not survive. The AEC-Q100 qualification means the part has passed the stress tests required for tier-one automotive programs.
RoHS status — a BOM flag
The LMV324M-TI is listed as RoHS non-compliant. For designs targeting EU markets or corporate RoHS mandates, this is a showstopper unless an exemption applies. Verify your assembly house's policy before committing the BOM line.
